Well for some reason the skin on the back of my leg (where I radiation treatment 2 years ago) Is itching.. not just your standard lets scratch it. but were talking full blown poison oak/ivy itch! Well here comes the kicker.. that area is numb to the touch from surgeries past. So I can scratch but not feel it!!! All I can feel is the itch!! Grrr I think i'm going to go nuts!!

ETA: there is no rash.. Just Itchy skin!!

Put it to the torch...

Kill it with fire...

Take a hot bath or fill a tub with very very hot water and dip your leg in it.

Have a really hot chick pee on it....

Actually the pee won't help, but maybe having a really hot chick drop trou, and being able to look at her cootch while she pees on it will help you forget the itch....

Arrgh.

I get that where I have lymphedema in my right thigh (not the rash, but the itching) and it's totally dead, so I can't feel it to scratch.

Can you get some ice on it? Sometimes that helps.

Open your desk drawer and slam it on your hand a couple of times.

You'll be good as new.

Sure it's poison ivy and not Shingles??? Alot of people don't know what Shingles is and sometimes they mistake it for an allergic reaction...

He's not kidding.  I am allergic to mosquito bites -- every time I get bit, the reaction is much worse than a regular person.  I get blisters and it itches like crazy.  To me a mosquito bite is like getting a really bad case of poison ivy.

I take a cup of water, throw it in the microwave and heat it to boiling.  Get a cotton ball, dip it in the hot water, and then apply to the bite.

After lots of jumping up and down and cussing, repeat a few times.

In a few days or so, the bite is gone.  No lie.  My mom taught me this treatment method and it works.

Disclaimer:  do not scald yourself by doing this.  It works for me but you have to be careful not to cause yourself any first, second or third degree burns.  You undertake this activity at your own risk.
