Have you heard of "Check In?"  Fb quietly unraveled it on Wednesday.  If you are somewhere your friends can currently mark that you are there.  May not matter to some folks but I def. find it creepy.  Go to your privacy settings, customize, and select "Only Me."

Thanks for the tip.  Seems like every couple of months there's something new I have to set in privacy settings so FB doesn't send my info out to the world.

Interesting post I saw, very true:

Steve Greenberg: "You are not Facebook's customer. You are the product that they sell to their real customers—advertisers. Forget this at your peril."

That's good. I want people to know where I am.

Bigger chance of Fo-Time.

You are worried about privacy, and you are on Facebook?

That's usually known as irony.

Thanks for the info –– just turned it all off.  "Facebook" and "privacy" shouldn't be used in the same sentence together.
