What are some important dates that you remember for yourself? Not hollidays, birthdays, etc, but just important things in your life? I guess aniversaries and childrens birthdays count, but not really what I'm talking about. The only two things I really remember are the date I got laid for the first time and the date that I bought my first gun.

Febuary 3rd, 2007. I was raised. Also, June 10, 2000. The day I got married. August 15th 2000 The day my wife was found to have a brain tumor and admitted to the hospital. April 10, 2001. The day I got laid off...right after my wife had gone back to work and things were beginning to settle back into a normal routine. |

My birthday is January 27th. When I was in second grade, my nemesis Artie Schmidt threw a rock at me. Artie's birthday is January 26th. Every year, the day before my birthday, I'll ask my kids "Well you do know what today is, don't you" They know. "Yeah Dad, it's Artie Schmidt's birthday." That bastard.

That hits home...I've had a few buddies go to Iraq, but one of my best friends is getting deployed April 09.
