What kind of VFG is that?  Tango Down?

I think it's the TD stubbie. I added extra grip to the front with a soldering iron.

Neat!  I've been looking for an MLOK vfg to try out.  I don't know that they offer one.

It exists to hold an MRE sized tabasco bottle that I emptied and filled with oil. Can get at least 3 times out of a bottle before needing to refill.

Why not use this?

I need the pistol grip space for the spare bolt, jesus pin, firing pin, cam pin, bolt rebuild kit, and separated case extractor.

I've done the research, I am a direct male descendent.

And using ancestry and research Francis Stiles is my grandfather who settled here in 1630.

I really did trace all the way back to the Bedfordshire area.

He's doing really good. Got to go hunting this morning and evening, got a bit of sleep last night, and is in love with his new daughter. And the imp is adjusting well too. Lots of attention seeking behavior, but at the same time absolutely doting on his baby sister. Loves to hold her and snuggle her and read to her, and being really helpful about grabbing things she needs like diapers and wipes.

  Story time!

Midwife knew we wanted as natural a delivery as possible, but with the excess amniotic fluid, they needed the impette to descend further into the pelvis. So the midwife started me on pitocin, which makes contractions harder and stronger. That was only supposed to be until she broke my water, but then she said she wanted it to stay on a bit longer. And it was making the contractions unbearable, like my insides were literally ripping themselves apart. Regular contractions are bad enough, but those were unreal. Normally women get an epidural before they start pit, but I wasn't wanting one, so I got the full brunt of it. Anyway, I kept asking when it was getting turned off, and she kept saying "in a little while" and things were just getting worse and worse. I damn near collapsed in the bathroom when I had three of those contractions back to back while trying to pee, and I nutted up. I told her to turn it off now, and she hemmed and hawed, and I very directly and with authority (Duckski's description) told her to TURN IT OFF NOW. Had two more contractions and was ready to push, and 15 minutes later the impette was born.

I never wanted that horrid medicine, and I really think she never intended to turn it off. The contractions even during the actual pushing part were nowhere near as bad as the ones with the pitocin.
