Can you pay your income taxes with a credit card?

If possible, i'd rather pay my taxes lump sum quarterly with a credit card that gets reward points.  At least if i'm going to be losing 10's of thousands of dollars to the .gov, they can fund my next vacation with the points i'd accumulate.

Don't think so.  The .gov would lose 5% or something to the card company.

Yes. If you e-file you can. I use my AMEX if I have to pay extra.

yeah, thru a service provider.

the fees will negate your rewards points.
