My girl friends daughter found a few of these insects in her bed. What is it, and other then fire what is the best way to kill them.

Hard to tell what they are by the pics, strip the bed and check for, and look under bed as well

sorry to say this but im almost positive that is a termite. it looks like a formosan like the ones that we have around here. call a professional, they can make quick work of your house. look around the slab outside and see if you have any trails that they made coming out of the ground.

Thanks for the info. She lives in an apartment so I've informed her to call the landlord and inform them of the insects.
