Who here has/currently plays an instrument?

I have never admitted this on a forum, and I haven't played in about a year but I know how to play the handbells.

The church I belong to has a handbell choir.  It was active for many years long ago, then dispersed for many years, and a few years ago it returned.  I, along with my sister, mom and dad were part of the "new" handbell choir at my church.  Unfortunately it dispersed but it returned again a short time ago but with a all-youth ensemble.

I played the clarinet when I was in middle and high school, but dropped it around my senior year in HS.  I'm planning on picking up the guitar soon.

I'd like to try it myself.  I am a big guitar fan.  I'd love to do some shredding like Slash or George Lynch.

I would like to get another guitar or bass, and start playing again, but I'm not sure I have the time.  I sold my gear years ago when I was young and poor, and now I regret it.  I did sell my Ampeg SVT-II bass amp, GK speakers, and early Ibanez Soundgear bass to a good friend who is a talented musician, and he puts both to good use, and takes care of them.  My two Kramer guitars and Crate half stack, I don't miss so much.  I played trumpet and clarinet in elementary school, but never took to wind instruments like I did the strings.

I don't have any pics, but I play:

Guitar
Some Mandolin. If you play guitar, this is the easiest instrument ever to learn to play basic chords with.
Some keys--I fool around. I do sequence via tracking, so I add bit by bit. I can't really play with two hands.
Hand-drums. I LOVE this shit. So much so that I keep LP Aspire Congas in my livingroom
I've also fooled around on a lap dulcimer, and I'd like to pick one up.

I mainly do electronica via a couple of DAWs, through a variety of MIDI controllers. I do all of my own synthesis, and I love ever bit of it.

They do make them, but they are the 6505 series now. Since Eddie seperated from Peavey, they can't use the 5150 trademark anymore. However, from what I understand, Peavey owns the entire circuit design of the 5150 series. The 6505 is internally identical, just the name is different.

We added a LesPaul and sold the SG to the guitar player of Monster Magnet. I try to never sell a guitar but it was sold to help fund a guitar amp purchase. We have a Marshall JCM900 1/2 stack, a Mesa boogie single rec 1/2 stack, Fender Bassman 100 watt head and cab and a set of Pacific drums with A custom cymbals. Ill try to get some new pics of the band room.

My playing days are over except for a little acoustic or classical while sitting on the couch. My two sons are carrying the torch. The 15 yo just started his first band as a drummer, the soon to be 18 yo is a guitar player in 2 bands but started out as a drummer in a couple of other bands. Both the kids play straight-edge hardcore music.

Took guitar lessons when I was a kid. Was never very good and when I started playing football and breaking my fingers and hands I kinda got away from it. Would love to pick it up and try again.

I know, they have been multiplying while I sleep

Actually, just experimenting, don't normally have them all hooked up like that.  They are all cheap too, the white BOSS on the right is the most expensive at $99 (Noise Suppressor).  The rest are all less than $40.
