Awhile back someone posted some excellent information about homeowners insurance and firearms; I am looking for it, did anyone tag it and perhapse able to post a link?

I tried a search but could not find it.

Thank you

Did you try the Archive server?  I used "insurance" as the search word and got a bunch of threads.  Here's one--archive.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=1&f=5&t=412953

Homeowners is a limited risk policy ususally 2,500 max.  You can buy a rider that will raise the limit to 5,000.  The best thing to do is a commercial policy that covers more risks.  The NRA website offers coverage.  Or check with your home owners carrier for details.

Don't forget inland marine coverage (yes, that is the right term.  It is not only "marine" and not necessarily "inland" only).
