Im doing a survey on what Polic Departments around the country call their Internal Affairs units.Im retired LEO and am doing a college project any feedback woul be appreciated.Please name Dept and either put Internal Affairs or what ever else you call it.Please dont put things like Internal Repairs etc thanks

Phoenix Police calls theirs the Professional Standards Bureau. Their officers also used to be tasked with protecting visiting dignitaries.

Conway Police Dept., Conway Arkansas....Office of Professional Standards.

We use the phrase "internal affairs" to denote a certain type of investigation/conduct review, with the lesser type being referred to as a "supervisor inquiry".
