You need stuff like a good anti-virus like AVG, Avast, etc., and a good anti-spyware like Ad-Aware. Viruses, spyware and the like can still leak in but Avast and AVG can pick it up. |
Firefox doesn’t do it at all. Firefox is no more secure than IE7 is some regards it is less secure, it is a myth that Firefox is more secure than IE7, IE6 yes but not IE7. I would like to have $100 for every Smoe’s computer I had to clean up that said XX told me Firefox would keep me from getting spyware… well actually I do have that $100 or more. Anti-virus and anti-spyware will give some protection… nothing will protect a stupid or reckless user. There is no secure web browser… learn it, live it. |
