I passed the physical abilities assessment for the SO I interned this last semester before I graduated and completed their application. They must have liked something about me because I have an interview 9am Monday!
Any idea what I should expect and or prepare for? Already plan on wearing suit and tie. |

I made it through the initial interview, background investigation, and first poly.
Next step is the oral board interview with three upper ranking members of the sheriffs office on Monday. I kind of have some idea of what to expect right now but I fully expect to be surprised at some point during it. Anyone remember some of the questions they were asked? |

It's ok to have weaknesses (depending of course on what they are...more on that in a minute). Just be prepared to talk about what you've done to improve in those areas and what you're still doing to do to improve further.
Had a guy answer that question once with..... "I'm addicted to porn." Nobody, and I mean nobody, knew how to respond to that. |

It went pretty good I think. No questions were too crazy, mostly the kind you would expect. I got the whole "why do you want to be a deputy and what part of the job do you think you will not enjoy" question and a few others along those lines.
Now I just need to have two of my references respond and then the wait begins. Thanks for the responses guys. |
