Stonington #503 in Amherst, Ohio. Raised 5-11-13. 32nd AASR valley of Cleveland on 4-26-14. Masonry has been great to me and I've met a lot of awesome people. I don't make it to lodge as much as I'd like to, but I'm still active when I can be. Once I'm done with school I'm definitely going to be more active in both my lodge and valley. I also am a masonic antique and memorabilia collector. God speed brothers!

I've registered and posted back when I was initially raised and fell off the grid as regards the forum. I figure I'd re-introduce myself.
I was initiated in April of 2013, passed in May and Raised in June of 2013. My masonic journey has been wild so far. 2014: Installed as Marshall 2015: Installed as Sr. Steward 2016: Installed as Jr. Master of Ceremonies. The sitting Junior Deacon dropped mid-yea. After the summer break, everyone below him moved up a chair. I finished out as Sr. Master of Ceremonies. I'm glad I studied this chair! 2017: Installed as Junior Deacon. The Junior Warden drops in September for family health reasons. I move to Senior Deacon in October to finish out this year. I'm now the Junior Warden Elect for 2018. 2018: Junior Warden the moment my butt hits the chair on December 17th. For you newer guys or Brothers looking to join the line for the first time, take the time to learn the chairs ahead of you. You too may find yourself being called to fill a chair ahead of you. Our Jr. Steward is jumping to Junior Deacon in 2018. That is a big jump in our jurisdiction. that's three years of chairs he is skipping. I returned to University in 2014 at the age of 37 to complete my engineering degree in Land Surveying. School did not interfere with Lodge until the fall of 2014. I had to step aside for classes that fell on meeting nights. The Jr. Steward hopped me in the 2016 installation and sat as Sr. Master of Ceremonies while I took the Jr. Spot. The Junior spot is essentially floor work during degrees that can be filled by anyone. I had spoken to the incoming master and several past masters about dropping out. They would rather have me idle in that chair and progress after school was done. The fall of 2016 saw my meeting nights open up once again so the final decision to be kept in the line paid off for me. I graduated in May of 2017 and have been plugging away ever since. |

Don't recall if i introduced myself previously on here.. I never get any PM on here so, I'm Chris. Raised in Live Oak Lodge #137 at Darien Georgia. I currently reside in north Mississippi where I attend lodge at O.D. Smith #33 and Antioch #549. Grand Lodge here overlooked my plural membership stuff from GA last year so, I'm not sitting anywhere this year. I do as much as I can though. Went through York Rite last year too. Sadly haven't been able to partake in any meeting for that as of yet but that is something I shall remedy this year. Looking forward to chatting some of yall up sometime and maybe getting some of those neat little badges next to my name on here.
I'm prior USAF Security Forces/CATM, 3 deployments to Iraq. Been a cop since 09. Also did a stint as a PMC in Kuwait. Got into Freemasonry back in 2015 because of a Chief at one my departments in Georgia. The amount of relief, charity and brotherly love he showed me really helped me out when I needed it. I questioned his willingness to provide for me like I was a brother or son of his and I was told, "well, hes a mason so, thats we do.." Apparently I was the one of two cops working there that wasn't a mason! Well, I fixed that and its really been great so far. |

Long-time lurker here!
My Masonic journey has been a wild ride. I was raised in Divver Lodge #349 AFM in South Carolina in 2007, and am Past Master. I joined the York Rite soon after, and after several years, I just finished my year as Most Illustrious Grand Master of the Grand Council of Royal and Select Masters of South Carolina. I'm taking it easy now for a short while, then I will jump back in where needed. I'm a also an active member of the AMD, Knight Masons, York Rite Sovereign College, and the Royal Order of Scotland, and I'm also a 32 degree Scottish Rite Mason (Southern Jurisdiction). -Jim Barr, KYGCH |
