| I didn't find a stickied post for new members to introduce themselves. I'm an E-5/Sergeant in the U.S. Army. I'm a 13M, Multiple Launch Rocket System, Field Artilleryman. I'm currently deployed to Iraq and will be redeploying to Ft. Hood, TX soon. I have 2 ARs. One is a Colt Match Target, and the other I just finished building myself(except for installing the barrel extension, i built it all starting with everything stripped) I'm curently ordering parts to build my 3rd. Once I get back to the states I'll post pics and get more involved in the community. I also did about a 3 year stint shooting in the USPSA(limited category). Once i get back to TX, I hope to get back into competition shooting. |

Welcome to the board!
We don't have an introduction thread here, but it's always a good idea to do it. FWIW, I sincerely miss Ft. Hood and I hope to be able to go back there some day. So how are things in Iraq lately? News there seems to have largely dropped off a bit, though I couldn't imagine as to why.....

| It's been really calm over here for the whole deployment with only a handful of minor incidents. I'm at a COP near the Iranian boarder. We are less than 2months from redeploying now. But, thats when the SHTF last time. Hopefully this is the last time I'll ever see the "Futile Crescent". |
