Anyone know if they used steam or electric engines to rotate the 16" turrets on the battleships?

Have no idea why I thought of this, but now I need to know the answer to get it out of my head.

I may be talking out of my 4th point of contact but AFAIK, the BB61 class only used steam in the propulsion system and probably the fresh water condensers.
