I have one in black. There are a few things I don't like about it though. 1) it makes the iPhone much larger 2) you can't just stick it in your pocket with the case on there 3) if you do drop it, it bounces like a super ball.
Overall, I would give it a 9/10. I would buy another one. I actually wish they would make the same case for the iPod Touch too and the iPad. |

Pretty cool. Might be a candidate for my new phone case when I get my iphone4. I'm currently using an otterbox. How's the size compare to the otterbox? about the same size but the otterbox had flaps that over time get floppy and don't close. I have not had any issues with the covers on mine ever not staying shut. It works great. |
|
It's only slightly bigger, but that's due to the silicone lugs. It's way soft, and way solid. Feels so much better in the hand than an otterbox. Quoted:

Yep, absolutely no watermarking (oilslick) Quoted:
Looks nice. One thing i really like about the Otterbox case is it has a special coating on the inside of the clear screen protector to eliminate the "oil slick." For the iphone4 model, anyway. Does Griffin do the same? Can't really tell from your pic. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

That's what I have on my iPhone. I don't see the need to have a case that almost doubles the size of my phone, as I'm not throwing it down the driveway on a regular basis. LifeProof cases interest me greatly. They're dirt/dust/snow/shock/water/proof. They demo'd it at SXSW this year. The iPhone was in a LifeProof case, at the bottom of a goldfish bowl, and fully functional. |

Rugged you say? Chuck Norris personally signs the survivor. Quoted:

A buddy of mine has a battery case.
He can charge his iphone 3 times before plugging it back in. I thought it was pretty slick. He can go two days without worrying about the phone dying, and it charges while the phone is charging. I cannot remember the name of it. But I wish my droid had one. |

But there's no hole on the back so I can show off my apple logo. Exactly. One of the best things about this case is no apple fanboi faggotry. When I used the otterbox it always irritated me to see that apple logo cutout. It was useless. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

I love my survivor, I have thrown it across rooms to demo it, i dont cringe if the kids take it to play a game and it fits my hands much better. Yeah. I'll admit I've hucked mine too. I love how it just bounces silently across a garage floor. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

I notice from your picture that there isn't a camera flap on it like there was when they first came out which made taking pictures a pain. So that flap is removed? Is there something there to protect the camera? I like the look of that case, my otterbox is getting old and the silicone is starting to break down(happened to every silicone case I've had around the six month mark). |

Everything has protection. If you look closely you can see the improved cam flap is folded down and retained. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

If they fixed that I do believe I will have to order one up. |

+1 on the boob Quoted:

Yep, problem fixed. The funny thing is, I don't think they announced the fix, and it wasn't in the instructions. So for a few days I was like wtf is his plastic bit for lol Quoted:

It isn't anything extra, it's actually part of the phone Quoted:

Yeah, on the back of my survivor, there is a little plastic female bit that protrudes through the silicone from the inner case, and it accepts a little nub on the inside of the flap. You pull the cam flap down and then push the nub into the receptacle and it stays, just like in one of my pics. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

| Mine is black, I stopped at the Verizon store to see what they had. I had another case, but it didn't cover it around the front top and bottom at the ear piece and the button, I like the belt clip too. It does add bulk to the phone but I think it offers great protection. |

I had another case, but it didn't cover it around the front top and bottom at the ear piece and the button, I like the belt clip too. It does add bulk to the phone but I think it offers great protection. The bulk is crucial. And it's super comfortable on the hand. I personally like the bulk, I've always disliked tiny phones, and it fits fine in my pocket as I don't wear women's/skinny jeans. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |
