Seems to me that Iran is best served by a chaotic Iraq and will do damn near everything in their power to fund, supply and provide bodies to the insurgents. If Iraq is stabilized, they know Iran will be next...the question is, what can the US do to reduce the Iranian support for the insurgency? assassinations? improve Iraq/Iran border security with armed uavs? if you were the CIC what would you order? |
