It’s a 12 gauge, longer barrel. Wood and finish seem solid and action seems smooth.

Are they worth $200 plus tax?

Update:  I will let someone else get the deal. It’s at the Scheels in Colorado Springs.

I sold one for $275 a few months ago. The wood was perfect and the metal had one small imperfection on top of the barrel just forward of the chamber.

That's about what I paid for mine.
Mighta been $225.

I wouldn't take that for it now.

A smooth action, modified barrel 12 ga is worth it.

Do it.

Most under-valued shotgun there is.
I prefer my 1300s to my 870.

I can make an 870 jam pretty easily. I have a Defender that's about 25 years old. I have tried like hell to make it malfunction, and I have yet to do it. They are excellent guns.

I had one years ago. It was good and reliable. It was only $229 new.

They're smooth & fast,

probably why Winchester stamped "Speed pump" on some of the receivers

I would buy it for sure if it is threaded for choke tubes. Probably would even if it doesn’t.

same.

Great shotguns ....smooth and light.

Can't say they would last as long as a 870 but the ones ive had have been great.

I have one with a rifled slug barrel and would love to find a nice longer one to play with for a turkey shoot gun.

I've always liked the 120 forend. I believe all 120s had it. I've seen 1300s with it and with the longer ones like the 1200s in this pic.

For that price, I would get at least one. I bought a Winchester Super X a couple months back, that was slightly used, for only $120.00. Works great but just wish they had another at that price.

I'm no connoisseur when it comes to shotguns, but of the 4 SD ones I've owned the 1300 is my favorite. I always found the controls more intuitive  than an 870. Never weighed it but it feels lighter and handier.

The one I have is a marine model. I bought it for around $300 in the early 2000s. It was either new or barely used.

That said I haven't fired any of mine in years and have gravitated more toward 2-gun rifle/pistol to take that for what it's worth.

I will hook someone up. Have too many projects right now and just can’t justify buying another gun. If someone gets it post an update.

It’s at the Scheels in Colorado Springs, used shotgun section. Good luck.

Can't even get the Chinese clone of the 1300 for $200 anymore, I think they're up to $225.
