To an extent, yes. If the packaging is not compromised then there is no risk to the latex... so long as you haven't subjected your wallet to extreme temperatures by leaving it on the dash in the summer.

I never could fit a whole box in my wallet, one is good for now, but what about after I smoke a cig and drink a mt.dew?

Gotta carry several.

No, it's not safe. It does degrade the condom, whether it's latex, polyurethane, or lambskin.

If you have to carry one around with you just in case, keep it in a front pants pocket or a jacket pocket, and take it out at night.

Of course, most women I know think it's kind of creepy to keep a condom with you.

I can't find a wallet big enough to hold the size of condoms I use.
