About 10 years ago my doctor told me to use it for an ear infection I had.  Keep in mind I am not a doctor nor do I play one on TV..... and I didn't stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.

About 20 years ago I had pain in one ear.  Went to Doctor who had the nurse "Lavage" my ear.

1/2 Hydrogen Peroxide
1/2 very warm water

Water pic for cleaning teeth shot solution into my ear.
Peroxide and warm water brought out gross looking glob of "stuff" I am still embarrassed about.
(I clean my ears really!)  It looked a little like a slug you might find in a garden.

Pain was instantly gone and I could hear in that ear like a microphone was hooked up to it.
I asked them to do the other but they declined.
Sound amplification lasted about an hour.
