Or just in a coma?
All other trees in the area have been green for at least a month. Just a few sparse pale green leaves on mine.

Is it normally on track with other trees in your neighborhood?

Some trees, like pecans don't even start leafing out until most trees in the AO are done.

Not dead yet. See how it does next year.

I just cut down a plum tree that didn't bloom for two years. It was quite dead.

Cut it down.  If it's green in the middle, it's still alive.

Looks like a goner. Half the branch ends don't have anything coming off them. Would give it a month yet though.

Is it the same species as the other trees in the local area that have leafed out? Different species become active at different times.

So I take it this is not like a proper photoshop thread?

My 3 year old pecan has been growing new green like a wild fire the last week and a half, but it was late blooming compared to various other trees in the area.
