Anybody have experience with them? I am looking to lose a little in my waist.

I have a friend that swears by them. Only problem is she sells them too. So I am torn.

This is what I am talking about. It works site.

I have an ex who sold them for like a month (She's a hairdresser so that tells you how much stock I put in what she does, uses, or saids).  Was always posting picks of before and afters.  Seemed like a gimick to me.

Pick it up

Put it down

Repeat as needed.

Muscle burns calories.

Over and above that cut intake in small steps while continuing to pick it up and put it down until gone. (if you want to lose, I'd say build more muscle first though)

You can't spot lose fat.

It can only be lost when your body is calorie deficient and you don't get to choose where the fat is lost.

Belly fat is usually the last to go.

No gimmicks. Exercise or cut calories.

Calories in > calories out=gain weight.
Reverse the equation to lose weight.

Spot reduction is bullshit, too.

Or go with an Atkins type diet, eat when you're hungry, stop when you're full and don't fool around with all the gimmicky stuff you see out there, a low carb diet in an effective way to lower body fat ratio.  Add a bit of exercise for conditioning and you will get results...

When you say genetic issues are you saying you believe you're predisposed to carrying body fat because other members of your family are overweight?  If that's the case I've always believed you learned to eat like they do, families tend to look alike for that reason.  My family is all overweight, morbidly obese would be more accurate, yet I'm 52 years old and 5' 11" and 145 pounds, I long ago cut the crap food out of my diet, I eat basically nothing but meat and the only carbs I get are in my home brewed beer, I'd figure I take in less than 20 carbs a day, I've done this for years, at my last physical my bloodwork was perfect.  I exercise strictly for conditioning, I spend my time riding motorcycles when the weather permits so maintaining muscle tone to handle 600 plus pound bikes is a must for me otherwise I wouldn't even bother with exercise.  The only effective way to control body fat is diet and to a lesser extent, exercise.  These fly by night quick fixes will never give you permanent results... I wish it were different, but it's not, nothing can truly reduce body fat except for a proper diet...

Because soccer moms are always drinking wine.  When combined with the hormones that wine causes your body to secrete an immensely strong chemical reaction ensues that burns fat damned near instantaneously.  If you have a Y chromosome you cannot secrete the necessary hormones, you can purchase them separately and apply liberally to fatty areas.
