What do you guys know about the AR15 they have for sale @ 500?

Hard to go wrong at that price. If you get it and don't like it I doubt you'd lose money selling it on a local forum. Just call and ask who makes the barrel and lower.

Seems to me that if it was a quality manufacturer, they'd plaster the name all over the ad.
And you CAN go wrong for $500 if it doesn't work properly, or some of the bits break off prematurely.

I've assembled them for that price, and knew what parts went in them.
They will probably sell a shit ton of them this weekend
