Saw J Geils free in downtown toledo at some festival. I wasn't a huge fan but man they blew the place apart. Super tight band and a zillion songs I recognized. I almost wanted to hand Peter wolfe $50 and another $65 to ticketmaster for the privledge

That was the first band I got excited to listen to. It started with "No Anchovies Please" when I was in summer camp and went from there as I started seeking out more of their music. Freeze Frame was my first tape.

Fun fact - MTV original VJ Martha Quinn is in the Centerfold video.

A friend of mine lived in Peter Wolf's old apartment in Boston's Mission Hill. Wolf had signed the wall so the landlord framed it in and a condition of the lease was nobody could fuck with Peter Wolf's autograph. Yeah, I know, CSB.
