This is the Jeb Bush I remember as governor. The unions (especially Teachers Unions) hated him. Has he changed?
From the NY Times no less... Linky |

I will NOT vote for that asshole. Not even if he's on the general ballot and Pocahontas is the dem candidate. But then again, that's probably the entire plan. Get a Bush on the ticket and watch the Dem win in a landslide. Anyone who votes for Bush in the primary is either a Bush family member, a democrat shill or a complete and utter fucking moron.

|
Quoted: Yep. This is definitely making him " an other". Of course, I'll never vote for that asshole, but it does show how they believe him a threat. He's a threat alright, a threat to ever hope of keeping Clinton or Warren out of the white house. If I was a Democrat I'd be cheering in the streets if he won the primary, and specially if Clinton loses theirs. Jeebus, what a disaster that would be for this country. And it's not his policies, it's the Bush name. He'll push the middle right back into the Dem camp.

Details please! I'm trying to figure out the hate (other than the name) and need the details. What has he done or said that I can point to and say , 'see, that's why you shouldn't support him'. I'm from FL. People remember him as governor and won't take empty arguments as reasons to not support him. What policies or positions can I point to? |

The position to point to is America doesnt need or desire political royalty. So no more Kennedy, Clinton or Bush candidates. |

It's a giggly knee-jerk "cool" reaction. I don't care if his fucking name is George Herbert Jefferson Bush Clinton Kennedy, if he's going to do what I want, he's got my vote. |

I was a Fla. State employee all during his time. He went out of his way to harm us peons and did away with the several systems of 'checks and balances' which were to designed to cut down on incompetence and corruption among the administrators. In the current system (due to him) the only method to resolve any problem is to go to court which the average employee certainly is not able to do. Once someone is above the 'worker bee' level there is no accountability for ones actions.
Also the system is designed so that 'investigations' are designed so that the investigators assigned are usually people who are partially the cause of the problem under 'investigation'. One of the situations where I filed a formal complaint against a very senior person, Doctor Gladys Branic, the State insisted that Dr. Branic was authorized to investigate the complaint about herself and was the only one allowed to do so, further that her decision would be final. |

Quoted:
Out of our population of several hundred million our republic keeps going back to the same two families for our highest elected position. I See this as a sad sign that we are close to the end of the republic. With the exception of 2012, every election since 1984 has had a Bush or Clinton on the ballot. Pretty sad if thats the best America has to offer. |

Sorry to hear that! I've also heard the opposite... I have a niece, her husband, a nephew, and his wife who all worked for the state. They were happy with the institutional changes. My sister, who was a teacher, was not happy with 'No Child Left Behind' implementation by the local school boards, but much happier with the way the union was told to butt out. These are all second hand observations... |

Anybody who votes for somebody with the last name of "Bush" in the primaries is essentially helping the democrats.
Even if I liked Jeb Bush, which I don't, I still wouldn't vote for him because anybody with a brain should be able to understand how unpalatable the Bush Brand is. |

hes a dumbass who is not in touch with avg Americans. screw his immigration plans and his common core support. We need new blood but we all know how the machine works. Immigration Plan? Like this? "The former Florida governor warned against President Barack Obama’s expected executive action to limit deportations, promised for some time shortly after the election. Instead, Bush said Congress needs to pass a bill and that a newly Republican Congress would solve the nation’s immigration woes — although the Republican-controlled House refused to vote on a major immigration bill this year. “The constitution requires Congress to pass laws, not the president,” Bush said in Spanish, contrasting that with some Latin American strongmen’s ability to implement laws by fiat. If Obama acts unilaterally on immigration, Bush warned, “it will be harder to do it the appropriate way.” |

Current positions aside, Jeb was an outstanding Governor. Remember how Louisiana leadership handled Katrina? Jeb was hit by a year long series of hurricanes and handled them exactly like he should have. He didn't fly over the damage and cry for the camera. He got the job done. |

I've seen where that got us... |

I can't vouch for the website or its authors, but I like the concept... I do think there may be quite a few 'selected' quotes, but at least it's a start for research.

But, those who are better either don't have the resources, won't run for fear of the lambastation, or are not chosen to run. |

There must be a path to legalization for the undocumented immigrants in this country, to bring them out of the shadows. I would introduce that within my first 100 days as president. HRC. Most of em are pretty easy to pick out for being in the shadows all the time. |

How funny is that-we could end up with each choice wanting amnesty. Like the choice in 12 between two fucksticks that both wanted government mandated healthcare.
Lesser evil and all that............
