You know what, watching Tom Knapp, Bob Munden, Byron Ferguson, Mr Flintlock, Cisco, Jerry and all made me challenge myself and made me a more confident, consistent and accurate shooter. I was blessed to see Tom Knapp perform before passing, I wish I had the chance to see Munden. Most people have that "that's impossible" or "Can't be done" built into them, you can sit in your recliner and think the earth is flat and nobody can shoot an iron sighted pistol @ over 200yds OR you can get out there and practice. I have successfully shot pistols over 200yds, upside-down pistol at various ranges, the Annie Oakley(over the shoulder with mirror)with a 30-30 and 45-70, I loaded and launched my own clays and hit them with a 30-30 levergun. Am I on their level? Fuck no. Can I shoot with laser precision and faster than the speed of light? Fuck no. I am a pretty good shot though and my wife thinks I'm a bad motherfucker  |

He doesn't just shoot single action revolvers...he shoots pistols, rifles and shotguns too. He does some amazing shooting with real bullets at unbelievable distance and speed. You'd be surprised what he can do with 2" J frame revolver on steel targets from 100+ yards. He is also a first class gunsmith and did work for a lot of famous people like Hank Williams Jr., Randy Travis, etc. I had the pleasure of watching him and his wife Becky spend an afternoon doing their shooting demonstration when I was a kid. He is the real deal. |

It may have all just been an act, but, Bob Munden's obnoxious, self-aggrandizing, blowhard personality was such a huge turn-off that I couldn't stand to watch him and would change the channel if he came on.
