Why does Federal law prohibit the use of this container for the storage of fuel? Have you not noticed how shitty gas cans are now? btw, you can use these for fuel, because no one will give a fuck |

Where are these made ? I really hate ordering shit and finding out on arrival of it's communist XHINESE origin... I have had some for years and they are good quality with internal lining. Welds can have some splatter but overall very nice. |

How long will gas in these last if it is sitting in a detached garage without climate control? Is ethanol free better for storage? I routinely store gas for 1 year in these cans. Depending upon what you put it in, you can go longer. Some 2 strokes get touchy on old gas, most vehicles don't care. One thing to remember though, because they are sealed the gas will expand if stored in hot conditions. So open SLOWLY as the pressure can spray gas out in certain circumstances. Also do not fill right to the very top, leave some air space for expansion. Do this and you will be very happy with them for long term storage, work great with diesel as well. |

I think the 10L cans are ideal for stuff like lawn mowers and small equipment while the 5L can is perfect for mixed gas for chain saws Quoted:

I like the 10L cans better, easier to carry 2 back and forth to the gas station than 1 20L. while the 5L can is perfect for mixed gas for chain saws Always have to post in a jerry can thread. |

Do you guys like the short or tall 10L cans? The short looks like the better option to me. For certain things you can't beat the capacity of a 20L other times the handy size and lighter weight of the 10L is the way to go and its only $19.99 http://www.ohioprepsupply.com/nato-jerry-can-10l-2-64g/ |

wonder if it would be better to split it up in two 5l cans or do 1 10l. |

I actually like the 10L better than the larger 20L. Shit get's heavy when you got to hold the can up to fill a car up. Quoted:
