There is a really good argument in Religious Studies circles that Mohammad crafted Islam to be a syncretism of Arian Christianity, Judaism, and the various Arabic religions. |

Jesus was a Hebrew, the Christian religion was promoted more by John the Baptist, at one point you had to first be a Jew before you could convert to Christianity. The Islamic religion came much after that. Without getting into dates too much, Judism, Christianity, Muslim. That is the way they were brought into the world, so it's incomprehinsible for Jesus to be Muslim.

The Jewish people just didn't like the Messiah that came...they were expecting a Warrior to come and slay all their foes....and got something entirely different....and thus rejected Him. |
