Anyone have any advice for job interviews, I think I am pretty decent but i have heard people throw in there little tidbits of advice.

Anyone know of any good books to read (maybe online and free!)

One question I have is how early should you get there, someone told me if the person is very early it shows they have nothing better to do (seems weird)

then I have heard its best to show up right on time maybe a couple minutes early but that way you dont inconvience the interviewer.

Others have said show up about 15 minutes early to get established, relax and then you put some pressure on the interviewer cause your early???

Don't show up naked and greased. That is for sure.

I guess it depends on what kind of job you are interviewing for. As a chemist, I always tried to find out as much information about the lab as I could. I also studied the type of chemistry they did in case they asked me any questions about what I knew.

Calm confident...

all the 'advice' is mainly horseshit, there are so many different people and styles there is no right way

Yup, 15 minutes early.  Shows you plan ahead, etc.  More would be... weird.

How long have you been looking for a job? Seems every post of yours is related to finding work.
