Not sure where else to post this here.
My company is looking for a person with the following quals. 1 - Professional in communications and appearance. 2 - Understands Linux, OpenStack and cloud technology in general. You need to be technical but that's secondary to the customer facing end. We can teach the tech. 3 - Able to maintain a customer relationship (this is actually more of a relationship position. I estimate 65/35 relationship/tech.) 4 - Multitasking - e.g.: Can handle a lot of context switching. Like playing a few games of chess at the same time. This is a WFH full time career with a major company in this industry. You would be a peer of mine but on a different team. PM or send email via this site to inquire. If you have a friend that fits this, please send him by. |

Estimated salary range? You know why I like you? Always open to change. I'm only guaranteed my current gig until next January. Kind of looking to pivot to something else. Long term, I'm not sure how valuable Cisco voice will continue to be. I've been doing it for a long time, and I think it might be time to move on. I've been a Linux geek forever (though I haven't played with OpenStack). Might as well get paid for it again. |

Sounds like some sort for Tech Start up. I'm available at the 'Bucks every day from 6:30-9:00 AM and from 7:00-9:00 PM on my Mac Book Pro. I present myself professionally as you would expect for this kind of job. I wear sandals (winter months, Converse sneakers) , cargo shorts, a Geeky genre graphic tee, sweater vest, thick black frames (no lenses because I'm 20/20), Foo fighter's hair and facial-doo, and an ID card worn around my neck. |

It's a remote position. :-)
Not a start up. Publicly traded company with several $B revenue. I have one hat thrown in so far, and there's likely more than one position. I'm not a recruiter and can't comment on salary, but it's pretty good. Even for the metropolitan Northeast. I am carrying 150% of the load I should. Until there's a new team member. Hence my unusual approach and urgency. |
