FAA says within 20 years, 30k drones could be flying in U.S. skies:
The American Civil Liberties Union filed requests with five federal agencies on Tuesday for records on the use of drones in domestic airspace. The requests aim to shed light on the extent to which the government is using drones for surveillance and what the plans are for the future use of the technology. Domestic drones are now uncommon, but the FAA has predicted that within 20 years, 30,000 commercial and government drones could be flying in U.S. skies |
