The stickers should include the price of gas when he took office. Half the people who see that don't even remember what the price of gas was less than a year ago.
People have very very short memories. If there weren't memes pointing out that the covid vaccine was sold as preventing covid no one would remember that they changed the narrative from preventing the disease to just not getting as sick. As it is people live in this false dichotomy of if everyone got the shot we could stop covid and blaming the unvaccinated for them people getting covid. I've seen the same shit over and over again. Obama being the greatest politician and the only leader who could renegotiate the status of forces agreement and keep troops in Iraq to less than a month later saying Obama didn't spend months trying to lengthen the Iraq war and you are absolutely crazy if you don't forget all the time and energy he spent trying to keep troops in Iraq and just focus on how his failure was him keeping his campaign promise. Shit I watched the local news media report on how the US and Canada raising the lake levels was hurting property owners and told anyone who would listen that in 6 months they'd be blaming global warming. I was dead wrong and had far far too much faith in my fellow man. It was less than a month before they shifted narratives and the fucking retards around here ate it up. |
