I just saw this today. I thought it was a fun movie.

Yeah some of the acting is bad - they cast young Darth Vader as the main character.

It has Samuel L Jackson in it. It can't be all that bad.

I just saw it this weekend. I was a bit surprised by the dialogue, in that department they could've done better. But some of the action sequences were fantastic.

I twas a fabulous movie, if you are really interestd in hearing teenagers emote their teenage angst throughout the entire movie.

Ahhh, what we as a species will do for love, including every stupid thing imaginable.

Is there a rating below a zero?

Wish I would have seen this review thread before I saw the movie last night

The "jump" sequences were kind of cool but that's about it. They never really explain the battle between the "Jumpers" and the "Paladins". The ending was horrible as well.

I LOVED IT........... NOT! Glad my wife won free passes on the radio. I would have been pissed if I blew 20 bucks on that one..... The rebel jumper was cool, I liked his home in the sand pit. On a brighter note The Happening by M. Knight S preview looks cool... I love survival movies.... also I see I am legend is out on Blue Ray next Tuesday.

I saw the preview as well, it does look good BUT M.Knight Shyamalan movies tend to look good in the previews but suck in real life. Wide Awake, Lady in the Water, The Village, etc.
The only decent movie of his (IMO) was The Sixth Sense, the rest...meh

At least they are somewhat original rather than the run of the mill remakes that keep cropping up.

Neat idea, horribly executed. I found the English Paladin killer much more interesting than Hayden's.
