I only used a Beta58 and SM58 when I used a mic.  That was sort of my parameters for recording this one.  Plus I'm in a totally new room now that my daughter moved out.  LOL.

That your way of saying you don't like my mix?  LOL.  My daughter took her drivers test up there last winter.  She was back home from an internship up north and all the dmv's down here were booked out like 2-3 months when she was ready.  So I'm like, well lets go out by a smaller town.  It took a long time to get there (I'm in Caledonia, Racine County) cuz of the construction on 43.  They ever gonna be done with that?  LOL

So what you got in your studio?

Thank you, I didn't have any issues linking it anywhere else...  so, not sure if there was a problem here.  It comes up on my page but maybe cuz it was my account.  IDK.  Thanks.

I thought Caledonia was between Baraboo and Portage. Gonna be in Merrimac in a few weeks for my son-in-law band gig at Merry Macs campground.

It sounds earnest which is always the most important thing to me.  Just figured if you ever want to record here it would give me a chance to play around with my stuff a bit and hang out with someone like-minded.

I've got a properly treated room, Reaper-based DAW setup, and a solid mic locker with access to a ton more.

I'm currently doing the cut and paste work on a bunch of tracks for my band so I can send the stems off to my mix engineer and I am about ready to quit music for good.  Performing and editing my own vocals are the worst part for me.  The guitar stuff I usually feel pretty good about.

LOL Okay then you sing a bunch into a microphone and spend a few hours comping vocals together into stems while trying to be objective about the sound and pitch of your own voice.
