This thread shows me just how poor I am. I can't find the cash for a newer truck, let alone the thousands for lifts and stuff.

Instalation process for Bakflip for 2022 Tundra that came with the wrong instructions.

11mm socket wouldn't fit into the channel, good thing I checked before mounting.

It's funny.  If a Tundra owner was doing the lift himself it would usually be a full weekend.  He would start thread full of pictures and angst on some Tundra forum.

For you?  A quick morning job.

Same kinda deal for me when someone posts about a 500 mile road trip.  What emergency gear should I bring?  What should I look out for?  Has anyone done this?

Yeah, well, I did 600+ miles yesterday, 500 today and I'll do 600 more tomorrow.  And so on.  Another day at work.

6" lift is already going to be a drop bracket lift.  I don't do diff drops, but I don't go past 3" or so on IFS.  Causes as many problems as it solves.

I love lifted trucks and big tires

The shit that gets destroyed and worn out because of it brings in easily a extra half million bucks a year to our shop.

Go brodozers!

Off today so a coworker finished the lights while I get credit for the front bumper/winch and bumper lights.

Today I did front and rear brakes on the camaro.

These fender brackets hold up well, very glad I installed them.

Have you ever rebuilt CV shaft?

Rebuilt, no, put new boots and grease and new lock ties, yes, have not replaced the actual bearings/races, if those look bad then I'd recommend to replace the whole thing. Look at that one axle on the 1st page.
