Thought you guys might get a snicker out of this.. So me and HunterGren are at this indoor range we sometimes go to, and there are a couple urban youths and a guy who looks like a disheveled version of Juan Valdez signing up for CCW classes. They then walk over to gawk at the HK display, at which point one of the youths imparts some very useful information to his companions. Urban youth 1(pointing at the Mk23): "That's that machine gun I was tellin' you I'm gonna get." Urban youth 2: "Shit, that thing fully automatic?" Urban youth 1: "Shit yeah, man." Urban youth 2: "How you know?" Urban youth 1: "Because of that thing on the end of the barrel, DUMMY!" I guess he meant the threading. Funny thing was, the place was pretty packed, but nobody said a word.

That reminds me of the day I was in a shop buying a holster when two newyorker "Motorcycle enthusiasts" came in and started looking around. Here is the part of the conversation I overheard. "Ya see Frankie, a Roo-gah is an American Loo-gah" Nobody said a word that day either! |
