There's a difference in civil and mechanical engineers.

Mechanicals make weapons; civils make targets.

I have read lots of M9  complaints but none were about reliability.

I will pick Italian shotguns over anything else on the market.  Anything.

My 92 has been flawless since 1989.

Parent might be overseas, but they produce a bunch over here.

Even moved because of the gun laws.

I plan on buying one of each of the firearms they produce in TN once they are up and running. I own nothing made by them now.

Didn't Berretta move from commie state to free state?

I would be willing to buy just for that reason.

YES!

BTW, there are a few things I'd change about the M9 but overall it's more than sufficient for the task.

Haaaaaa.

I love this place.

Now, the truth.

Beretta makes good stuff.  I shot clays for, years.  Top shooters use browning or beretta or some other Italian shotgun. Some krieghoff but nothing like the number of Berettas or Perazzis

I will buy a Tenn Beretta when the time comes. Just cause

i never personally had any problems with my issued M9 but have seen a few major failures while others were shooting them during qualification. I own a Cx4 storm and it has been flawless and accurate in over 800 rounds i have fired through it.

Way too late for me to say no. I've got a 1201 fp, a 1301 tactical, a 92fs and a PX4 Storm .40.

My brother also has a Storm and a 92 fs.

100% reliability with all of them. Granted, I've only put 135 rounds through the 1301, but I have yet to be disappointed by any Beretta product.
