A friend emailed these photos he found online... was wondering if it was really possible,





I told him I really don't know... and why would you want a bolt-action detachable-mag rifle anyways.  Oh wait, he's in CA... hahaha.  Anyway, wonder if this was a photochop.  It was just interesting...

Sure it's possible.......

If I remember right, I think I saw a kit for doing just that, to either a Win Mod 70, or A Rem. 700, a few years back.....

Only big attribute I can see, is you don't have to reload every 5 rounds, and it's always quicker to slap in a new mag.

If it can be done, people will chop together the strangest guns.......

Logic matters not.  Sometimes it's just 'because it was there'.
