You must be in the Army.
I  had heard that they just authorized the wearing of the "I Just Quit Smoking" patch for the Battle Dress Uniform.
You soldiers sure do like patches.

Congratulations!  I did the same thing in 1991 and don't regret it one bit.  Now you will have more money for ammo and other gun related stuff!

Please do not quit smoking.

The government requires your tax money to fund social programs.

i highly suggest you not dip or smoke (or both) while using the patch should you so be inclined to give into the craving. i've heard that can actually give you a heart attack... all i know is i was extremely amped. [XX(]

Good job. Just do not figure that dipping is quitting smoking. If you think quitting smoking is tough, I'm here to tell ya that dip is easily 5X worse.
When I quit dipping I actually started smoking again (I was going absolutely crazy) because quitting smoking is far easier than quitting dipping.
Be strong!

The first four minutes are the hardest.

I quit 23 years ago.

Good luck to you.  As I got older I hated how much my life centered around smoking.

An older guy at work quit smoking with the patch and had a couple left.  I wanted to quit so I got them from him and put one on.  Then I started to think that eventually (30days) I'd be on my own so I never used any more and was able to quit without them.  I smoked as a kid and then had a pack a day habit till I was 50.  For some strange reason it was easy to quit, maybe the right time or something.  I was in good shape and went on several 100 mile rides on my bike, while I was still smoking so maybe my improved health and fitness was helpful.

Congratulations!

It will be 7 years for me in September. Maybe a good excuse for a collapsible stock and a flash hider?

OK, just short of 7 hours without backsliding. I'm gonna head home soon, and demand that Mrs. FLAL1A help me deal with my now-unfulfilled oral fixation.

Thanks for your support.

Although I'm partial to Nicorette, any form of nicotine supplement is good.

The only kind of smoke an Arfcomer should inhale is gunsmoke!

The only thing male Arfcomers should suck on is a drink of a Cool One. [beer]

With luck you’ll join us non-smokers permanently.  Good Luck.

I've been quit almost a month now. This is my 129th attempt at quitting. Been chewin' nico gum & suckin' Commit lozenges. Maybe I'll just suck & chew these the rest of my life? Quitting is the hardest thing I have EVER done, am doing, hopefully. A co-worker of mine was just told he has a year to live. We are throwing him a "going away" party next week. It's very devistating. Good Luck to you!
