. I'm looking for a sit in kayak. It will be used 75% on lake (no fishing) and 25% down calm river and camping over night. I'm looking at an Old Town Loon or Dirigo but cannot decide on the 10.5' or the 12'. Help a newb out. http://www.cabelas.com/product/Old-Town-Loon-Kayak/2251153.uts?productVariantId=4507993&WT.tsrc=PPC&WT.mc_id=GoogleProductAds&WT.z_mc_id1=04376553&rid=20&gclid=CPSWhLStus0CFQyNaQod09cI0Q&gclsrc=aw.ds. |

Get the one with the best seat, since that is what your ass will be in all day. It will make the difference, trust me. Comfort is king for recreational kayaking. I also like a good sealed dry storage hatch, one with hinges and latch locks rather than the Tupperware kind. |
