Ok, 4 times today and about 20 in total. This guy calls up and asks for "Danny" I tell him I am not him and he proceeds to go on about how ne needs to sell a Blazer and some "stuff" today. His prior calls have been incoherent ramblings(bad connections0. here is an excerpt of our communication: him:hey, danny there? me:no.not here.how'd you get my number? I think you may have the wrong number. him:I got a blazer and some shit I need to move fast. me:what? him:some shit. me:what kinda shit? him:shit.the shit, man. me:ok...so whatya want me to do? him:well, we were given this number while you were away. me: really?I never give my number away.Oh, you mean away, away, the pokey away.. him:[laughter] yeah, man...so, can you help us? me: I don't even know you. him: yeah, we know the routine.we don't want you going back either. him:here, talk to "frank". frank:hey flucker, how you been? frank:flucker! him:hey man, we need to move this shit.Can you help us" me: you on the landline?(got that off HEAT  )frank in the background:hey, you mutha..fark, grable, gargle..scream, kick, yelll... me:click My cell has a caller ID feature that shows all the numbers that have called and I saved theirs.I'm gonna call the po-po if they call back again... So, should I call the po-po now, or let these dumbshits fall into a gopher hole? |

A) Tell them sure, arrange a meet...give them the address of a police station, and tell them you'll meet them there in a couple hours. Make it non-obvious (like 1060 West Addison, anyone? [:)])... B) Once they agree to that, change the number. Last thing you want is some schmuck deciding he wants to get even, and how difficult do you think it is to get someone's billing information? 10 minutes with a decent social engineer, and anyone will say anything... |
| If you have one of the new Motorola phones, you can use the "evil" thing that I've done, you have their number saved in your phonebook, just set their ringer ID to silent, they can call all they want, but your phone won't give any alert! You might check with your cell phone company, there should be a way that you can block their number. |

Next time they call, say that "Danny" got gunned down by some homies yapping about a stolen blazer, and that those homies are looking reeeeeeal hard for the guys that have it. Alternatively, get in touch with your local PD, and see if they can provide you with an address for them to drop the car at... possibly with a surprise party waiting. |

Well I had mexicans calling my phone here, I used to but them on the phone with my drunk friends, or scream JIHAD!!. Finally I gave someone the number here and they got them to stop calling me. I say mess with them and have fun, dont get that chance alot. Tell him Danny is dead, and thats all your saying and hang up. |
