I just took apart my fathers carry gun to clean it. I have never really messed with his PF-9 and when I went to put it back together it is about 1/16 of an inch from lining up correctly so i can replace the Assembly pin. is there some "keltec trick" i am missing?? any help is appreciated.

Shake it ... the barrel is loose if I remember correctly and will wiggle around.

Have the manual?  During re-assy you must push the barrel down w/your thumb (thru the ejection port) as you push the slide back.  It's a bit tricky, but easy once you've done it a few times.
