| Well, I researched this and found out that for my purpose Keymod is fine because I don't move lights and stuff back and forth between guns. Speaking with Rusted Ace whom I believe to be an SME says MLOK is the way of the future because it allows transfer of lights/lasers/etc back and forth between rifles ( paraphrased). I hope that helps and I am certainly no SME on either type rail. |

| I have 3 rifles with keymod rails, and probably 6+ rifles with quad rails (mostly daniel defense lite rails). And I prefer the quad rails, M-lok looks promising, but with both key mod and M-lok, I don't like the fact that I have to ADD a part, before an can ADD an accessory that'll work with any standard pictinny rail. I have a bunch of TLR-1s' and AFG's, RVG's, and bipods that work just fine on my DD lite rail. I have seekin's MCSR rails btw, and they aren't "slim". I have felt the BCM KMR's, and it's VERY slim and light, but after a few mags, it get very hot to the touch. I think the rail is too close to the barrel. |

Since we have to choose between keymod and Mlok, the nod goes to Mlok. No way I'm using the hideous keymod system.
But what do I know most all my Ar's are still using the "outdated" and ancient picatinny rail. But damn if the geissele Mlok rails don't look good! |
