This tick hitched a ride home with me today....

A dab of fingernail polish remover got him to let go of me, but didn't kill him.

As cute as it is, I can't have a live tick around the house...any suggestions?

Poll to come.

edited: I also believe that is a "spotted tick"   ....good luck

nope its a lonestar tick but Lone star ticks can transmit tularemia and other diseases including one similar to Lyme disease but milder.

Allow it to engorge itself with blood - then hit it with a hammer.

I always just introduce them to Mr Benchmade.

They don't seem to like being in half much.

The Internet will kill it. Smash it into your monitor.

....acid!

Or nuke it from space!

Fry: if it is any consolation, his body was vaporized, eliminating the chance that he could come back as a zombie.
Grandma: I wasn't worried about that.
Fry: then you are a bravery person than I.

The trial and execution will be tomorrow night. (I've got to go)

I'll let the jury decide.

the tick whipped your ass and walked away unscathed didn't it?

Kill it with fire. 10 years from now it could exponentially be responsible for 100's of ticks.

Ticks are just about the only creature that I take joy in killing. Well... mosquitos too. Don't take joy in killing spiders, bugs, whatever. But parasites like those two are truly a joy to kill.

BTW... ticks don't "bite" you. They bury their tiny, ugly little heads in your skin and suck your blood until they fat with it. When I was a kid and had a thick head of hair, I had a giant, fat one that must've been there for a while. My parents couldn't get him to come out, so they had to pull his head off an then get it out with tweezers. It was NOT pleasant. I hate them, and at the risk of being against CoC -- KILL THEM ALL!!!
