[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Killswitch Engage

Anybody listen? They're the one band I have every album for.

Their new album Killswitch Engage II just came out. I must've listened through it five or six times already, it's been a while since we got some new KSE, and the live tracks at the end of the album are awesome.

Thoughts?

I thought a couple of their songs were ok but they're not a band I would actually listen to regularly. I'm not much of a metalcore guy more into the heavier stuff (Suffocation,Necrophagist,etc)

They are a very good band. Haven't really heard a song by them that I thought sucks.

Was just listening to them actually. Pretty standard for metalcore but they are a damn good band.

I bought the new album the day it came out. I love it, but I still think End of Heartache is my favorite album. It just needs a few more listens though...

It has so much potential. I usually enjoy that style of screaming in music but it doesn't fit the song AT ALL and therefore has no place being in the cover.

I like the new stuff (new lead singer) better than the old stuff. The current guy just has more... I dunno, his voice is better.

Love 'em. One of the best live bands I've seen, hands down.

I don't really like metalcore, either. I don't know why I find them different.

I personally like their older albums better with the old singer Jesse Leach. His lyrics has deeper meaning \m/,
