I'll wait for it to come out on video.

Thanks!

Funniest scsene in the movie has to be the interaction between Po and his father in the end, when he says "Sometimes I can't even believe I'm really your son," and his dad says "Son, there's something I should have told you a long time ago," and EVERYONE thinks he's going to tell him he's adopted, but instead he tells him the secret ingredient of his soup.

Only OK, I thought Forbidden Kingdom was much better.

Most fun part for me in the movie? Trying to figure out who were the voices! I never did figure out until the credits who voiced the master.

And what kind of wimpy tiger gets beat up by a snow leopard? And was the master a Red Panda? Or a Mowgli?

Yep, I liked the way FK honored the classic kung fu movies before it.

We have a running joke about how raising your pinky instantly makes things "cultural".

And now we have "skedoosh" to add to the joke.

"Is that the dreaded Wuxi Finger Hold?"

Just the other day I read an interview with Dustin Hoffman about the role; someone in it mentioned him being a Red Panda.

That's 8.50 without the goodies too, I bet.  I remember when movies were 4.50when I was a kid in Tennessee

Decent movie. My son loved it. I got more of a kick watching him (he's 4) than the movie.

I just saw this tonight (that's why I wasn't playing the screenshot game) and I was thoroughly entertained.

"You guys are so much bigger than your action figures! Except you, Mantis. You're about the same."

I think it also added "skedoosh" to my vocabulary.

I liked everything about that movie.  It was very entertaining, there were some great lines, EXTREMELY well-directed action scenes (finger fighting with chopsticks FTW!), great acting . . . it was just an excellent movie.  I think it was better than Shrek.  The only CGI movies I still think are better are The Incredibles and Ratatouille.

And I got to see it free, TWICE, because I'm in Iraq!  Woohoo!

First run "The Guns of Navarone" = $0.10 each

(Navy base theater 1961)

That theater had an interesting pricing policy; if the movie showed for 2 days the price was 35 cents; if it was around for 3 days the price was 50 cents.
