Sorry for such a goof-ball topic, but I can't find any worth a shyt, and this place always gives me great info, so I thought I would take a shot.

So I bought the Wally-World colored LED Christmas lights last year, and my home looked like a whore house. They were super dim, and really weird looking. We moved to a much nicer area, and I'm trying to find LED Christmas lights that look "normal" in a white color.
Is there any such thing? If so, where in the hell do I get them?
(going LED to save in power costs + want to invest in some that will last for years)
Thanks!!
Trevor

A lot of the Chinese white LEDs have an unnatural tint - usually blueish or greenish. If you absolutely have to have pure white, you might consider testing them before you buy them - Open the box, pull out the AC plug, find an AC power outlet inside the store, and plug 'em in.

Personally, I'm a fan of the multicolored LED lights - Much more vivid colors than their incandescent counterparts.

LEDs aren't that great at white.  That being said, I've got some LED tube lights from Phillips that are pretty darn good for LED.  Target usually stocks Phillips brand lights, you might want to check them out.  See if they are to your liking.

I put up the colored LEDs for X'mas.  The colors are really intense and I don't have to climb up on my roof every week to replace a bunch of burned out bulbs.
