Just an FYI for you guys...just received this from LMT.
"SUSPICIOUS EMAIL WARNING If you receive an email from Lewis Machine and Tool that invites you to click on a link or download a file, do not click on the link or open the file. Although the email appears to be sent from Lewis Machine and Tool it is actually sent from an @bih.net.ba domain. There have been several recent consumer warnings on the fraudulent use of companies names or logos by scammers trying to gain access to consumers’ information. This scam is called phishing. Please note that Lewis Machine and Tool does not store our customers' financial information on our website. Suspicious e-Mail/Phishing Phishing (as in “fishing for information” and “hooking” victims) is a scam where Internet fraudsters send e-mail messages trying to trick unsuspecting victims into revealing personal or financial information that can be used to steal the victims’ identity or dowload a virus on to your computer. Lewis Machine and Tool will never send an email asking you to login to view an attachment. If you have any questions or concerns, please call (309) 787-7151. " |
