Assuming the lion's share of KAC's revenue comes from contracting with the feds, I sometimes wonder (half serious) if they purposefully price things at absurd levels because they don't need commercial business....but they know there are enough suckers that will pay it, so they pull some crazy number out of their ass.

Its a piece of specialized gear that is hard to machine and low volume. It was never intended to be on every m-4gery made.

Standard pricing for that specific comp.  Actually.......it might be a tad cheaper than normal.

I'm saving up for the milkspec version.

It's made from aldrinium, a rare alloy derived from moon rock ore.

In the presence of aldrinium, neither water nor classic firearms can be brought to a boil.

Aldrinium is but a small step from armstrongite, which is mined only via core drilling in the Gulf of Mexico. Armstrongite makes a "BP" noise while in an atmosphere containing anhydrous tapco and will no longer maintain a post-machining dimension, therefore making stock fitment impossible.

This manufacturer also makes vegan mops and buckets, for those who prefer their janitorial chores accomplished without meat products.

I could go on, but why belabor the issue?

If that whooshing sound (from the joke going irreparably over your head) didn't wake you up, I'm not sure any illumination I might render would provide the needed elucidation.
