What is a good term to use when trying to express to a lady that she is attractive?
Is "cute" a no-no?
How about "Hot", "pretty", " nice"?
which term is best?
If it isn't in the poll please add it here.

This is for the women to answer.

Should have included a "want to see results" selection.  But you can just log out to see.  Or just select "hot."

Can always just hit "VOTE" without changing the poll results.

I hit attractive, just to sk(r)ew with your results.

(Just kidding, I wanted to see the results)

IMHO, there is a time and place for each one. Some women hate being called cute or pretty, others don't mind.

NEVER use cute!  Even though you may mean it as the biggest compliment, they won't take it as such.

BTW, if you're talking to a Latina and want to tell her she's cute, the Spanish-English dictionary will tell you the Spanish word for cute is "mono."  Do NOT use this word, don't ask me how I know

Especially if she is the dominatrix type.

I voted "hot" because it seems like the most "from the heart" of the available options, but I'd prefer "beautiful," "gorgeous," "extremely good looking," or, for the more poetic among you, "resplendent."

"Attractive" and "pretty" are too impersonal, "cute" is very tenth grade, and "nice" is a personality trait, not a physical description.

I love the people that point out other people's stupidity.

I am not a woman, but I have had a very long term relationships, lived with a few women, one of my best friends is a woman, and I have a few close female friends.

I don't think there is one specific answer (word) to your question. The right word is situational and depends on the dynamics.

-She just bought/put on a business outfit or somethign formal: "You look very attractive."

-She is dressed you for you guy to go out bar hopping or a party: "You look hot."

-She is dressed is something non-erotic for bed or to lay around the house: "You look cute."

-She just did something different to her hair, make-up, etc: "That looks very pretty."

I stay away from "nice", I'll say something like "nice boots, nice shoes", but most of the women who know me that if I say "nice" I am usually being a smart ass.

Just my opinion, take it for what its worth.

It's not nice to call girls "monkeys."

I was talking to a friend on the phone one day while he was at work. He had mentioned that there was a good looking girl and that I knew her. He said, "Dana is here." I replied with, "Oh, the cute blonde?" He then told me yes, that I was on speaker phone, and that she heard everything I said. A week later Dana and I crossed paths in the Miami EOC. We hit it off and are now engaged. However, she still does not let me forget that I only referred to her as cute instead of the more desired "Hot!" Learn from my mistakes, don't call a girl cute.
