... What happens if you turn a laptop upside down while it's turned on (using AC adapter)...? UPDATE: Last night I unplugged it for about 20 mins then plugged it back in and it worked fine... for about 10 minutes. ![]() It's doing the same thing it was last night, when I try to turn it on it flashes (once) all the icons in the little display and the only one that stays is the power (cord) icon. It did turn on a couple times after last night but, it was only long enough to show the blue Scandisk (?) screen for a few seconds then turned off again. So, it is getting power, but something is stopping it from getting to where it needs to go... When the power did get there it was only for a minute or two. This would lead me to believe it's got a short but, I'm not the most computer savvy person so any help is appreciated. |

The reason I ask is because I turned mine upside down to sand the edge of the CD tray so that it will close smoother......But, the thing turned itself off after about a minute of being upside down. It wont turn on now. On the little gray status screen (like a calculator) it says it's receiving the power supply... Nothing happens when I try to turn it on though. |
The other day I posted this same question on GeeksToGo.com and today I was going to go back to check for responses and the IE "This web page cannot be displayed - Error 404" comes up... Maybe their webpage is down, but I hope not because I explained things in MUCH better detail and took a while for me to get it all typed out. One more thing I did that got me nowhere. ![]() So, no one knows what I could do, what's wrong with it, etc.? |
AHHHHHHH, You blew it! Your supposed to say in a knowing tone: AHHHHH YEP, The flux capicitor is grounding out against the hard drive piston assembly thereby causing the batteries electron drainage torque converter to jam against the Digital Video Disc's baud rate..........................I've seen it a million times.
